FISH FOR LIFE - NOT JUST
OUR LIFETIME
We LOVE Fish & Chips. Fish
is a value resource and must be conserved for
generations to come. Fish is for Life and not
just our lifetime. It is the responsiblity of
everyone (customers and other businesses) to
ensure we protect our planet and its oceans.
Make a difference - use fish from proven
sustainable sources - ask businesses to prove
it not just say it on their menu. Ask where
your fish has come from (is it caught from sustainably
and approved fishing grounds). Only purchase
fish which is mature (if you have 2 whole fish
in your fish and chips - ask yourself why did
you purchase this - if you continue to eat immature
fish - where will the fish for tommorrow come
from?). Ask how the fish is caught. Land &
Sea has pledge to use fish from sustainable
sources.
