Our committment to a gluten-free service
- We only sell products which are Gluten & Wheat Free on the day - some other retainers sell only gluten free fish & chips (which can still contain wheat starch) - we don't, ours is free from both gluten & wheat.
- On the pre-determined days we conduct a two stage filter process to remove contamination (from our standard batter) from our oil and frying range.
- Some chippies fry your food alongside other products unsuitable for coeliacs, thus increasing the rise of contamination of your food - we don't! No other products other than those on our Gluten & Wheat Free Menu will be fried in this session.
- We use a non-brewed condiment in place of malt vinegar
- We are actively working with a local butcher to obtain the supply of more Gluten & Wheat Free Products.
- Our Fish & Chips are cooked to order on the day.
- Land & Sea appreciate how important these days are to our customers with gluten intolerances in being able to simply enjoy Fish & Chips out a chippy without the normal concerns of purchasing for a such a specialist diet. Our business can affiliate with this issue, as Susan (the business owner) herself is actually allergic to fish and strangely enough has never had the pleasure of a Fish Supper in her life.
